The natural assets in the cave include four lakes and the largest one being 800 metres long. This cave is also home to a rare species of blind fish. The cave also holds creatures such as tail bats, hunting spiders, Arabian toads, wadi racer snakes and much more. The cave was officially opened as a tourism spot in December 2006.

The Nizwa fort is a large castle in Nizwa, Oman. It is a popular tourist destination. This fort was built in the seventeenth century. The Nizwa Fort is Oman’s most visited national monument. The construction of this fort took about 12 years and was built above an underground stream.
3. MAJLIS AL JINN CAVE
Majlis Al Jinn cave is the second largest known cave chamber in the world, as measured by the surface area of the floor. It extends to 310 meters in length, 225 in width and 120 in height. The cave was opened to the public during the end of 2019. The cave is located in a remote area of the Selma plateau at 1380 meters above sea level.
4. RAS AL JINZ
Ras Al Jinz is a turtle reserve where green female turtles come and lay eggs. This is also a fishing village. Facilities at the turtle reserve includes a museum, gift shop, meeting room and library room. Important archaeological discoveries have also been made at this site, demonstrating connections to the Indus Valley in ancient times.
5. QURUM BEACH
Qurum beach is the most beautiful and longest beach in Muscat, Oman. This beach is perfect for serenity and relaxation. Taking a walk on the long beach alongside the clean waters of the Gulf of Oman is a wonderful way to relieve stress.
6. JEBEL AKHDAR
Jebel Akhdar in Arabic means Green Mountains. Jebel Akhdar is famous for its traditional rose water extraction and agricultural products including pomegranate, apricot, peach and walnut. The Jebel Akhdar includes the towns of Wadi Bani Habib, Saiq and Al Ayn, where local farmers raise grapes, pomegranates, apricots and walnuts.
7. JEBEL SHAMS
Jebel Shams is the highest mountain in Oman. It is known more for its view rather than its peak. It is an extremely popular sightseeing location. Jebel Shams also hosts the Al Nakhur Canyon. It is so spectacular that it is labelled has the Grand Canyon of Arabia. The south summit of this mountain is accessible by all for trekking.
8. BAHLA FORT
This is a historic fort situated in Jebel Akhdar in the highlands of Oman. The fort was restored and reopened to the public in 2012. The Fort was believed to be built between the 12th and 15th century by Banu Nebhan tribe. This is a wonderful place to visit because of the architecture of the fort.
9. BIMMAH SINKHOLE
Bimmah Sinkhole is a hole that contains water and is called a sinkhole in English. The locals believed that the sinkhole was created by a meteorite. Bimmah sinkhole’s deepest part is over 300+ feet deep. It is a beautiful sight to see.
10. WADI DAYQAH
Wadi Dayqah is a wadi in a canyon about 90 kilometers east of the Bait Hattat roundabout. It is a great spot for hosting picnics. From the Wadi Dayqah, you get a wonderful view of the Oman Mountains.
11. SALALAH

Salalah is the capital and largest city of the southern Omani governorate of Dhofar.
