WALLPAPER VS PAINT
Cost: Wallpapers are more expensive than paint.
Durability: While good quality paint will last for few years (5-10 years), wallpapers if applied properly can last for a longer period of time (up to 15years) depending on its application, exposure to sunlight and quality.
Wallpapers are not recommended in humid areas as it may peel off.
Installation time: Wallpapers take less time to be put up and finished as long as it is done by an expert with precision and patience.
Ease of application: Wallpaper require skill, whereas applying paint is much easier. If the surface is not much worn out paint can be reapplied on older coats but existing wallpapers need to be removed and the surface cleaned in order to install a new one.
Variety : Both are available in a huge variety of colours and finishes. Paints are available in matte, satin, glossy and semi gloss finishes and there are many ways to apply texture on the surface too.
Wallpapers are available in custom patterns colours and styles and in finishes such as vinyl, embossed textures, fabric etc.
